Make-Up for a Traveller
When travelling, the weight tolerance of trolleys and airport rules often limit what you can pack. Still, you need to look good wherever you are –- so bringing make-up anywhere you go is a must. Fortunately, by following a few travelling tips, you can travel light even if you bring your beauty products.
The key to the perfect traveller's make-up kit is to not bring everything you have! Just go with the basics mascara, foundation, and lip gloss. If you need to bring other products, make sure they are dual purpose or even triple purpose. Bring a lip and cheek tint product for example, or a product that can be used for the eyes, cheeks, and lips at the same time. Bring moisturisers as well because the air within an aircraft can be drying for the skin. Make sure that the make-up you bring is suited to the climate of the place you are travelling to. Hot places could easily dry and crack your make-up. Rainy or cold places can make inappropriate make-up run and look simply awful. Ensure that you are aware of airport rules as well. Various airports impose limits on the bottle sizes and weights you can carry. Airport security would have no qualms about throwing away your make-up products if you do not follow the rules. It is also advisable for you to carry your make-up products in a transparent zip lock container.
Remember that you need to travel light. Bringing a lit of make-up could be just troublesome for you. You have to carry them all over the place but most of them might just go unused, so select the items that you will bring with you very carefully.
